Basic steps

1. Determine the approximate state capacity you require. Using default everything-enabled settings typical consumption is around 22 states per server for the current sampler. Use the state consumption meter for greater accuracy

   There's no need to be perfect, billing is calculated based on actual usage. This only determines the initial maximum states limit for your account and the size of deposit required for activation.

   It's generally preferred to have a margin of excess to grow into, both due to your general growth as an organization and the tendency for systems to have additional cpus, disks, and network interfaces installed over time.

2. Fill out and submit the form presented below.
3. Send your deposit to Muldex via PayPal or contact us regarding alternative methods of payment. Upon receipt of your payment your account will be activated and a notification Email sent to the Email address you provide.
4. Once validated you may login to the Muldex web interface here.
5. After logging in and configuring some users, subjects, and access control entries you are ready to download the Muldex sampler and run it on the hosts you wish to monitor. This process typically takes no more than a few minutes.
6. That's it, at this point sampled data from the hosts you have configured is being collected, archived, and graphed. Access your graphs via the web interface.
